ISMUNHK 2026 EXECUTIVE BOARD
Get to know the team organising this year's iteration of ISMUNHK!

Secretary-General
GRACE LAM
Hi everyone! I’m Grace, a G11 / Y12 student at Diocesan Girls’ School, and it is my pleasure to serve as your Secretary General for ISMUN 2026. With this being my fifth ISMUN conference and third on the Executive Board, I cannot wait to witness all the debates that will no doubt ensue. I hope that as delegates, you will be able to explore global issues, broaden your horizons and find your voice through this supportive platform.
As I wrap up my MUN journey, the final goal I have is to create a worthwhile experience for you all, just as MUN has been for me over the past few years. See you one last time this summer!

Deputy Secretary-General
ANNE ELLIS
Hey everyone, I am Anne, a junior (G11/Y12) at Hong Kong International School, and I am beyond excited to return to ISMUNHK as one of the Deputy Secretary Generals. By the time of the conference, I will be in my fourth year of MUN, and I cannot express enough how transformative this journey has been for me. Those countless sleep-deprived mornings struggling to find my way to school campuses have led the way to experiences that have shaped some of my best character qualities, memories, and friendships. So, whether you are a ten-time chair or this will be your very first conference, I hope this iteration of ISMUNHK will also serve as a milestone in your MUN and high school journeys, as it will mine. See you in the summer!

Deputy Secretary-General
VANESSA CHAN
Hey everyone! I'm Vanessa, a G10 / Y11 student at Diocesan Girls’ School. With this being my fourth ISMUN conference and second on the EB, I'm incredibly excited to serve as one of your DSGs for the 2026 iteration. MUN has enabled me to create unforgettable memories and forge valuable friendships, and I hope that ISMUNHK 2026 will allow you to experience that too. Beyond MUN, you will often find me with my head in a book, struggling desperately with M1 math, or staring forlornly (and sleepily) at a half-written essay. Looking forward to seeing you all in the summer!

Secretary
AVA YAO
Hi everyone! I’m Ava, a G10/Y11 from Hong Kong International School and I’m beyond excited to be serving as your Secretary for this iteration of ISMUN!! With this likely being the last conference of my second year in the circuit, I hope to make this experience as enjoyable as possible for both myself and all of our attendees.

When I’m not busy with MUN, you’ll most likely find me spending my meager allowance at new restaurants, getting carried in Chinese by freshmen, and taking frequent power naps. See you all next summer!

Treasurer
IAN POON
“pop star, but i'm your sec gen’s favourite treasurer”
hi i'm ian, a y12 student from hkbuas! it's my privilege to literally/figuratively serve as your treasurer this ismun!
ismun has long held a special place in my heart. being the very conf where i’ve worked my way up the mun ladder, i'm excited to be part of the team behind the BEST conf in hk! as an econ student, there’s nothing i love more than money, which acts as a measurement of market value. but i can assure you that your ismun experience will be invaluable!
in my imaginary free time, you can find me practising my penmanship, giving overdue feedback, lip-syncing my way through the city, and living that pop star lifestyle in a hurry!
looking this good doesnt come for free, if you want to del in good councils theres gonna be a fee! remember to pay and see you at ismun!

Internal Logistics Director
ANN ANN LEUNG
Hello everyone! I’m Ann Ann, a G11/Y12 student at ELCHK Lutheran Academy, and I’m honored to serve as your Internal Logistics Director for ISMUN 2026. Throughout my three year journey, MUN has enabled me to find my voice and grow beyond my comfort zone. As this will likely be one of my final conferences, I hope ISMUN 2026 offers you the same meaningful experience. In the meantime, you can find me getting bullied by IB chinese and mastering the art of napping. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Public Relations and Media Development Director
AIDAN LEE
hi everyone!! i’m aidan, a g11/y12 student at st paul’s co-educational college, and i am absolutely delighted to be able to serve as your pr and media director for this iteration of ismun. as my three-year mun journey comes to a close, i cannot think of anywhere else better to bid farewell to this ridiculously fun eca that i call roleplaying as politicians.
i have an exceptional talent for wasting away all my free time by promising myself to sleep early and then getting distracted and then doomscrolling and doomscrolling and (on a more serious note: i love playing rhythm games and all things technology, especially audio)
i hope you’ll enjoy the promotional content that will be the fruits of my deadline fighting throughout the next year! also, no, i was not 67-ing in the cover pic.
